KASPAR TASANE

A transplant from Estonia to Austin, Kaspar brings a uniquely European sound to the MK2AM roster. As a DJ, he comes from the era before the sync button and USB stick, having worked his way up from the small clubs of Tallinn to a residency at the city’s most popular radio show, “Weekend Liftoff,” and appearances on the stages of the region’s most important festivals.

His sound is both elegant and driving, with a timeless energy reminiscent of mid-1990s progressive. As a producer, he has tracks on such influential labels as Dissident, Armada, Perfecto, Colorized, and Pro B Tech, consistently charting at or near the top of Beatport’s chats.
