For more than four decades, Dave Ralph has shaped the sound and direction of the global dance music community we call home. Depending on when you first discovered him, you might know this legendary Scouser as a resident at Shellys or Cream, the tastemaker at Liverpool’s legendary 3Beat, the producer behind such classics as Bassheads’ “Is There Anybody Out There?” and Argonauts “Sommertag,” the Perfecto tour partner of Paul Oakenfold, a resident at the renowned Buzzlife in Washington DC and Shadow Lounge in Miami, the selector behind the celebrated Tranceport 2 and Love Parade CDs, the mastermind behind Boston’s Avalon and Axis, or the curator of the global Insomniac festival sound.

As a DJ, he is renowned for multi-hour sets that break down the barriers of genre over-classification and fill the floor with smiling, happy, sweaty punters who leave the night begging for more. He is currently taking bookings as a solo artist, as one of the four members of the LA-based house music collective The Bootycorns, and with his longtime production partner Alex Whalen under the moniker Ralph + Whalen.
